Students of UAP get VC's and Dean's award in Spring-2014

 

A total of 141 students of separate departments of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) have received ‘VC’s Honor List Award’ for their outstanding academic results in spring 2014, on December 4, 2014 at its new city campus in Green Road.

UAP Vice Chancellor Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury distributed certificates among the awardees as the chief gust at the function.

VC Prof Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Pro VC Dr. M. R. Kabir, acting treasurer Dr, Md. Shah Alam and registrar Dr. Md. Abdul Mazid spoke on the occasion.

Speaking at the programme, UAP VC said, skillfulness is very important things but social skill is much more than which could be acquired outside the campus. He urged students and educated people to utilize their knowledge properly in order to develop the country and make and enlightened society.

The 141 students of different departments have received the award in different semesters. Among them, 1 from Architecture while 13 from Business Administration, 28 from Civil Engineering, 9 from Computer Science and Engineering, 29 from Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 3 from English, 2 from Law and Human Rights and 66 from Pharmacy department.

Earlier, the Dean’s list awards were distributed among the students.
